This pro bono project was a simple blog set-up for a college student who is participating in a one-year internship in blogging and social media. Although the template was designed by FreeWebsiteTemplates.com it was modified to the student's specifications for the types of information she wanted to have included on the site and then coded for the b2evo blog platform. Recently I was approached by the owner of Creative Tutors International, Inc. She had originally hosted the franchise website for her company as a subweb on her master site. Besides being difficult to maintain as a subweb, she was not getting the sort of traffic she had originally hoped for and wanted the site moved to its own domain with appropriate links between the master site and the franchise opportunity site. She also wanted some serious revisions made.
The amount of information originally included as part of the site was to be drastically edited, rewritten, and reduced. It was her feeling that the sheer volume of information was overwhelming.
